We are here for you! We wanted to let you know that we understand everyone is dealing with a lot, especially right now. As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate, we wanted to personally let you know that we’re doing everything possible to maintain our level of client satisfaction while we navigate these challenging times. We are striving to keep communication open, utilizing email and phone calls, to keep you updated on your projects as we move forward.
Desert View Mirror & Glass is taking every precaution we can to keep everyone safe. We’re hyper-focused on the safety and health of not only our team and their families, but also you, our valued clients, as well as the entire community. If you’re not well or showing signs/symptoms of illness, we ask that you please refrain from requesting an estimate until you have fully recovered.
We’re dedicated to keeping your homes and businesses running smoothly.
Here are a few steps we’ve taken to ensure everyone’s safety:
Estimate Guidelines:
Upon arrival at your project our estimator will be 6 feet from any person that they’re scheduled to meet with and no more than two additional people may meet at the estimated job site. Our estimator will also be equipped with a mask and gloves and will not enter your home if it is not within the scope of work needed. Estimates for windows and sliding glass doors do not require a person to have to leave the safety of their home. If you feel safer by not meeting with the estimator in person we understand and ask that you be very descriptive of the location of the window(s)/door(s) you would like replaced/repaired. Our estimator will give you a phone call when they arrive to go over any details. However, please keep in mind installation may require access to the interior of the home.

Installation Guidelines:
Teams have been taken down to ‘bare bones’ to ensure that they’re not violating the 6 foot social distancing rule. Installation is fairly solitary, and lacks a lot of in-person contact. Technicians are equipped with sanitizer, masks, and gloves. All material will be wiped down with Lysol type disinfecting wipes but we also encourage a second sanitation by homeowners. All tools are wiped down after every completed job and sprayed with disinfectants at the end of their day. All commonly used areas will have the same procedures, such as handles, door knobs, etc. Again, we strongly encourage a second sweep of disinfection for all commonly used surfaces by the homeowner after installation is completed.
Training and Education:
We’ve placed COVID-19 educational posters throughout our facility, as well as an educational review with our team about the virus, symptoms of the illness, and the importance of maintaining strong immune systems. We have instructed our team to monitor themselves, to report any illness, infection, or the possibility of exposures to infected people, and also to stay home from work if they’re sick (they must be symptom free for a full 24 hours before returning). Any team member showing any signs of illness will be sent home immediately.
We frequently remind our team of the following:
Wash hands thoroughly and frequently.
Don’t shake hands.
Avoid personal contact, especially with anyone showing symptoms of being sick.
Respect social distance rules, keep your 6 foot distance.
Proper respiratory etiquette, cough, sneeze into elbows.
Do not touch your face, eyes, mouth, or nose.
Use and discard tissues.
Do not spit.
Reschedule or cancel travel / visitors.
Estimates by phone or video calls are encouraged.
Office Hours:
Office is by appointment only. If you’re looking to drop off or pick up material or take a look at samples, you must schedule this in advance. The office has a 2 man crew from the hours of 8 AM TO 9:30 AM and then 3:30 PM to 4 PM. The phones are open 24 hours, as well as online communication. If it’s needed, you can request to meet at our office location by email or phone call – though we strongly encourage phone calls, emails, and video calls over in person meetings at this time. Please confirm with the estimator that they can be available. Office and shop procedures: All common areas are sanitized with wipes and sprayed down with Lysol or another approved disinfectant. All equipment, telephones, computers, keyboards, radios, restroom surfaces, door knobs, and handles are also disinfected. Social distancing and frequent hand washing is our motto! Our general business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
